After you sign up, Alkmee asks for your role, your sports and a few details. Every step can be skipped and finished later. To change anything, open the menu and choose Edit profile.
You need to be at least 16 to join Alkmee. In some places the minimum age is higher.
Your date of birth can't be changed once it is saved. If it is wrong, tell us with the form on this page. You can change your user name once every 30 days; the first change is free.
Tap + Create. You can post a video of up to 3 minutes or a photo, trim it, choose a cover picture and add a caption. Choose who can see it (everyone or only you) and who can comment.
Every upload is checked automatically. While Alkmee is being tested, a person on our team may also look at new posts before others can see them. You can always see your own post.
You can pin one video to the top of your profile. Open the … menu on that video and choose Pin as highlight.
Alkmee is for sports. Please read our Community Guidelines to see what is and isn't allowed.
Open their profile and tap Message. If you write to someone who doesn't follow you, your first message arrives in their Message requests (in Messages). You can unsend a message, mute a chat, block someone or report a message.
To keep young people safe, adults can't start a chat with someone who is 16 or 17. A verified recruiter, coach, club or agent can send a contact request instead. The young person decides whether to accept, and chooses which details to share.
Open Contact requests from the menu. You can accept, decline, or block and report. Your contact details are shared only if you accept, and only the ones you choose.
A badge means Alkmee checked something. There are three kinds: Official (Alkmee's own accounts), Verified athlete, and Verified recruiter, coach, club or agent. Tap a badge to see what was checked and when. Badges can't be bought.
Go to the menu, then Settings, then Verification. Tell us about your organization and send a link or a photo of a document. Our team reviews it. Badges are checked again every year.
Use the … menu on a post, the flag on a profile, or the menu in a chat. Reports go to our team. A post with many reports is hidden until a person has looked at it.
Open their profile, tap the flag and choose Block. They won't be able to find your profile or message you.
Open the menu, then Settings, then Notifications and devices. You can end a login on any device there. Changing your password signs you out everywhere else.
Menu, Settings, Deactivate or delete account. Your account is hidden at once and removed after 14 days. If you log in again in that time, the deletion is cancelled.
Use Send feedback in the menu. Pick Bug, Confusing or Idea, write a note and, if you like, add a screenshot. Only our team sees it.
